I know I might be getting the cart mixed up with the horse but this article makes me desperately want to spend more time in Brooklyn. There’s some magic there for sure

That Clairo album is magic! Juna is having the moment it deserves but “Terrapin” is the one for me!

It’s so good! I bounce back and forth between “Terrapin” and “Nomad” on what my close second is

Taking two seemingly different things and showing the beauty between both. You’re so good at this bro. It’s like when you’re eating and two things that’s your plate tasting better together than alone- bravo!

When the yams and the mac & cheese touch!!!! Thank you bro, I appreciate you 🫂

Ahhh I love the comparison of the two artists in completely different fields (yes I think basketball is an art just as much as it is a sport).

Marine is an amazing player but she under performed in the semi-final and the final of the Olympics. Regardless, she helped put us there and I can't wait to see her play again.

I know! I hoped to see more from her in the final and semi-final, but it’s undeniable how talented she is. Fingers crossed for her return to the WNBA next season!

‘…it’s more like being captivated by their aura.’ Mmmmhhnnn.

Sure love how you connected and teased this out, Alex, the nuanced magnetism of two artists at seemingly opposite ends of the creative spectrum, doing big things but quietly. And in their own damn way, dammit. Delicious. Like really… we savor, right?? How much more of THAT could the world use?

I love that word: savoring. That’s what I want to do when enjoying their art. It can feel fleeting, so I want to make room to live with it and alongside it for as long as I can. Thank you for always making me feel like I wrote something to be savored. I appreciate you and your thoughtfulness and encouragement always.

Yes it’s been one of my fave accounts during the Olympics bc it’s hard to find video highlights of anything other than the U.S. team lol

bruhhh!! it’s so hard. the other day i went on youtube to check “Usa sudan highlights” in search of the olympics game and not the friendly in UK.

i found a couple of videos that seemed the same, i clicked on it and watched. It was when the video got to the end i realized it was the freaking UK game. I almost slammed my laptop till monday.

I was so pissed and just went about my day doing other things.

The most beautiful passes and queen of the one legged three. I hope she comes back to the wnba (esp the liberty!!), she’s an all star for real and should be in a starting line up. We love jojo buckets.

Sounds like the Liberty reserved the rights for her to rejoin the team next season!!! We’re getting more MJ
