community published its first issue of — a monthly selection of content from Black, Global Indigenous, and People of Color on Substack. This issue was beautifully curated by and edited by . It’s incredible to see how Locked In continues to evolve, and we can’t wait to share more!
Columbus friends! I’m reading at the Scatter Joy Project’s first-ever Studio Stories event tonight. Also, I’ll be participating in a fireside chat with hip-hop artist Taelor Gray and spoken word poet Donovan Alexander Beck. This will be my first time reading one of my essays live, and I hope people can still feel it without the words in front of them. I’m excited to try this together. Admission is free, and it’s BYOB.
